9. The Pacific Citizen is currently trying to develop a readership amongst Japanese American and Asian Pacific American youth. What do you feel is the main reason youth and young adults in the JA and APA communities do not subscribe to the Pacific Citizen?
&lt;b&gt;a. A lot of the youth have never heard of the Pacific Citizen.
b. The articles and stories in the Pacific Citizen do not attract the youth’s attention.
c. Young people, especially college students, are constantly changing housing addresses, which makes subscription difficult.
d. It is easier and cheaper to just read the news online.
e. Other (please indicate) --&gt; I think its association with the JACL kind of deters the younger people away because there&#039;s still that stigma of the organization being for older Nisei.. but, the dynamics of the JACL are changing dramatically and more and more young professionals are taking on leadership roles, so I don&#039;t think this will be that big of an issue anymore.&lt;/b&gt;
